Development Manager – Oil and Gas

Reporting into the Director of Operations in Indonesia and a key member of the Indonesian leadership team, the Development Manager – Oil and Gas will be responsible for providing outstanding business development and account management solutions to Air Energi’s current and prospective clients within the Indonesian Oil and Gas market

You will be seen as the Oil and Gas specialist within Indonesia, demonstrating the ability to identify new opportunities, convert these opportunities to revenue and shift into business as usual to drive the business forward. You will be viewed as a role model and expert internally amongst your colleagues within the business development market

Ideally you will possess a minimum of 10 years’ experience within the Indonesian Oil and Gas Industry, with proven delivery experience, demonstrate strong knowledge of the local oil patch and be commercially astute.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Project Estimator to be based in Jakarta, for a leading Global Engineering, Consulting and Construction company.

Our Client, who are renowned as 'cutting edge' in the Oil and Gas Industry, are undergoing an exciting period of growth in their office in Jakarta. As a result, they are growing their engineering capability in the region, and are looking for a Lead Project Estimator responsible for preparing and reviewing lump sum, unit rate and cost plus estimates on exciting new Oil and Gas projects.

As the Lead Project Estimator in this highly successful, global organisation, you will prepare conceptual estimates, cost analysis and co-ordinate the estimation for Indonesian Projects and projects in additional SE Asian locations.

The Lead Project Estimator will hold a Bachelor Degree in either Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and have experience in complex estimating principles and practices, including conceptual estimating and definitive estimating.

This position is an urgent hire,and our client are specifically looking for an individual who has extensive Oil and Gas/Production experience.

Role Responsibilities

Work closely with production team and other departments to ensure workplace is safe and environmentally compliant
Supervise company production foremen across several areas
Oversee the operation of local field offices including invoice flow
Recommend and implement maintenance and cost reduction programs
Recommend changes i n production operations and confer with the Production Manager and engineering on implementing changes
Help formulate Expense/Capital budgets and key performance indicators; review monthly
Establish and maintain good working relationships with surface owners and community leaders.
