1. ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

PROCESS – ET
• Carries out electrical preventive maintenance and troubleshooting under the supervision of process electrical foreman (this includes works on LV and HV motors, contactors and circuit breakers, control stations, LV and HV switchboards and associated power and control wiring and cables and earthing circuits.
• Works in accordance with procedures, policies and technical standards.
• Is responsible for common tools condition.
• Is responsible for safe work conditions for himself and personnel who work with him.
• Prepares drafts reports on work performed (difficulties encountered, time spent, materials used, etc.) in connection with work orders and / or interventions.
• Implements modifications, improvements to existing installations.
• Participates in pre-commissioning/commissioning of assigned area.
• Assists in assigned area start-up.
• Assists in training of newly recruited personnel.

OFF SITES – ET
• Carries out electrical preventive maintenance and troubleshooting under the supervision of off-sites Electrical Foreman (this includes works on LV and HV motors, alternators, contactors and circuit breakers, control stations, LV and HV switchboards and associated power and control wiring and cables, control PLC’s for load shedding, UPS, NBS and earthing circuits.
• Works in full accordance with procedures, policies and technical standards.
• Is responsible for common tools condition.
• Is responsible for safe work conditions for himself and personnel who work with him.
• Prepares drafts reports on work performed (difficulties encountered, time spent, materials used, etc.) in connection with work orders and / or interventions.
• Implements modifications, improvements to existing installations.
• Participates in pre-commissioning/commissioning of assigned area.
• Assists in assigned area start-up.
• Assists in training of newly recruited personnel.

WORKSHOP – ET
• Carries out Workshop Electrical activities in connection with Process and Off-sites maintenance needs (includes maintenance of LV motors, HV and LV contactors, circuit breakers, push button stations, socket outlets and light fittings, portable/mobile equipment etc.).
• Works in full accordance with procedures, policies and technical standards.
• Is responsible for common tools condition.
• Is responsible for safe work conditions for himself and personnel who work with him.
• Prepares drafts reports on work performed (difficulties encountered, time spent, materials used, etc.) in connection with work orders and / or interventions.
• Participates in the implementation modifications.
• Assists in Plant commissioning and start-up.
• Assists in training of newly recruited personnel.

MINIMUM PERSONAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT
1. Completion of Secondary (12 Years) Education following by 2 years formal course in electrical crafts.
2. 5 years electrical craft and maintenance experience in an Oil & Gas Processing
3. Plant / Petrochemical industries (that is ideally, not mandatory).
4. Fair knowledge of spoken and written English.
5. Good interpersonal skill to work in a diverse international environment.

2. MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
Job Description
• Carries out the skilled maintenance, overhaul and repair of plant and equipment in their respective assigned Process or Offsite areas.
• Includes regular monitoring, disassembly, repair and reassemble of equipment as well as implementation of modifications.
• Carries out the skilled maintenance on such items of Plant and equipment such as gas turbines, compressors, alternators, steam turbines, pumps, fans, boilers, vessels, columns, heat exchangers, LNG storage tanks, loading arms, flares, flares, filters, valves, etc.
• Uses a variety of tools and measuring devices, such as hammers, wrenches, Pneumatic tools, high pressure jetting and drilling equipment, grinders, calipers, feeler gauges, micrometers, Vernier’s, clock gauges, dial indicators, etc. Ensure that tools used are correctly calibrated. Must be able to work with very close tolerance.
• Ensures that materials and spare parts are available and are in good condition before starting maintenance activity.
• In accordance with permit to work system, carries out routine preventive Maintenance of machinery and static equipment according to schedules, check lists and specific equipment requirements. This includes changing oils, cleaning strainers, replacing filters, greasing and general overhaul of equipment. Repairs and or replaces defective parts, reassembles overhauls equipment.
• Carries out a wide range of corrective maintenance and repairs as a result of condition monitoring checks or failures of equipment. This includes the dismantling of various static & rotating equipment, repair, equipment reassembly and re-commissioning.
• Carries out other similar or related duties such as modifications, installation, pre-Commissioning and commissioning of new equipment, involvement in commissioning of new projects handled by Third Party.
• Makes routine checks to ascertain faults in Plant and machinery by feel, sight or sound and carries out minor repairs as necessary. Notify foreman of more serious malfunctions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Completed Secondary (12 years) Education followed by 2 years formal courses in Mechanical crafts.
• Minimum of 4 years mechanical crafts and maintenance experience in an oil & gas process plant / petro chemical industries.
• Fair knowledge of spoke & written English.

3. INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN
Job Description
• Carries out installation, calibration, minor troubleshooting and general maintenance of instrumentation and Control System associated with Process or Off-sites operation, deployed at the COMPANY facilities.
• Maintains all Instrument and Control Systems at a high degree of operational availability.
• Under the direction of the Instrument Foreman or Senior Instrument Technicians, receives Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance Routines, Safety Permits and appropriate engineering drawings and carries-out assignments.
• Under the direction of the Instrument Foremen or Senior Instrument Technicians, carries out in a safe manner, field troubleshooting, calibration and replacement of Instrument devices.

• Carries out overhauling/servicing of control valves, transmitters and other field instruments and cabling/tubing requirements. General Maintenance of calibration equipment in the Instrument Workshop.

Job Description
• Carries out skilled maintenance, calibration and repair work on a variety of analytical Instruments deployed at the COMPANY facilities, on stream, off stream and portable. The scope also includes maintaining functionality of all Analyzer found in the Operations Laboratory.
• Carries out routine monitoring and checking to maintain high, on stream availability factors of all analyzer systems. Reporting problems and solutions to the Analyzer Foreman.
• Receives instructions, work orders and safe permits for the troubleshooting, repair, calibration, replacement or overhaul requirements of Analyzers, Probes/Sensors on a plant wide basis.
• Maintains, all Analyzers and associated equipment deployed in the Operations laboratory.
• Carries out modifications, changes and data collection of Analyzers and sample systems.
• Assist Senior Analyzer technician in pre-commissioning/commissioning, modifications and shutdown activities.
• Performs routine checks of sample handling systems and Carrier/Calibration gas Cylinder replacements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Completed Secondary High School Education and have acquired formal technical training in Instrumentation or Electrical Trade from a recognize apprenticeship, or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of various types of Analyzers.
3. Should be familiar with all types of Analyzer sampling systems, full knowledge and experience in Gas Chromatographs GC-3100 of ABB Vista, CEMS analyzers of Ametek; Oxygen, pH, Conductivity analyzers of Rosemount / YEW and Moisture analyzer of Parametric.
4. Fluent in English language (primarily in “Spoken English” to reasonable degree in “Written English”).
5. Ability to read PΘID’s and be familiar with analyzer Sample Systems.

5. CIVIL SUPERVISOR
Job Descriptions :
• Directs within his assigned area, the activities performed by Civil Contractors on the LNG Plant Upstream onshore and offshore facilities, Process Trains, Utilities, and facilities in the vicinity of COMPANY facilities.
• Directs within his assigned area, the activities performed by Civil Contractors requires being on call outside normal working hours.
• Carries out regular checks in liaison with MSS and Maintenance Services Engineer (MSE) in order to ensure that civil jobs carried out by Contractor are performed in accordance with COMPANY standards, codes and practices. Reports to MSS / MSE whenever Contractors are not adhering fully to COMPANY standards, codes and practices
• Responsible for ensuring standard and quality of work executed by Civil Services Contract(s) including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, housekeeping, concreting, excavation and refractory work etc.
• Provides necessary explanations and technical instructions to third parties (Contractor (s), Jobholder, plant management etc.)
• Maintains regular daily records of the Civil Maintenance activities, recording manpower requirement and plant & materials used their by assisting COMP NY’s Maintenance Services Engineer with cost control duties.
• Provides written reports (daily, monthly at and at end of contract) on quality of Contractor’s services, Quality of workmanship, Safety performance and productivity will all feature in these reports.
• Assist Maintenance Support Services Engineer in the development of Civil Maintenance related contracts/ Contract Work Order, specifically compilation of Scope of Work, Bills of Materials, and other tender documents.
• Assists in updating procedures for all practical aspects of Civil Engineering work for the
• LNG Plant, such as concrete mixing, refractory lining form work, etc.
• Performs other related or similar duties, such as compiling Contractor’s timesheets, stores stock requisitions, accidents reports, serious disciplinary action reports, special technical reports, etc. all as directed by Maintenance Service Engineer.
• In line with Management directives, undertakes planned general Inspection and conducts
• ‘Tool-Box’ meetings. Initiates and monitors follow-up actions arising from both.
• Carries out random check to ensure that the contractor’s personnel on shift are following all the instructions and abiding by them (i.e. check if the changeover procedures are being followed / handed properly, attendance reporting to work, etc.)
• Checks that contractors use (wherever required) proper rigging gears and ensures that they are regularly inspected/certified.
• Checks the site establishments of contractor’s right from mobilization to smooth functioning to ensure the same is kept in safe and clear conditions.
• Carries out other similar related duties, such as obtaining gate passes, preparing store stock requisitions, arranging for vehicles inspection, arranging for safety training, trade testing and sending/replying to Contractor’s letters and faxes on liaison with MSS/MSE.
• Inspect Contractor provided Material and inventories from time to time arrange for trade test, interviews as and when required, thereafter prepare reply faxes, letters to concerned of the outcome of the test/ interview, confirm the deployment dates etc.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS.
• B.Sc. Civil Engineering or Equivalent.
o 8 Years work experience preferably in Civil in an Oil or Gas processing plant / PetroChemical Industries including 3 years as a working Supervisor in his field. c) Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Conversant with PC and average to good typing capabilities (minimum 45 w.p.m).
• Valid Qatari Driving License.
• Good Health

6. WASTE HANDLING SUPERVISOR
Job Descriptions :
• Provide interface between COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE and with his own Industrial Waste handling and Housekeeping Crew. Responsible for Housekeeping Services fully in accordance with contract requirement. May have to work in shift as and when required.
• Understanding of Company Industrial Waste handling requirement.
• Management of Industrial waste disposal yard. Segregation of Industrial disposable and non-disposable waste as per COMPANY and RLIC Environment policies and procedures.
• Liaises with waste transporting contractors. Follows all the statutory and government regulations with regard to Waste disposal.
• Ensures provision of materials and equipment / tools required undertaking assigned work. Inventory management for stock of material on the basis of COMPANY’s
• Liaise with relevant personnel in the operations and Safety and Environment departments to obtain details of waste and methods of disposal. Informs the COMPANY Supervisor of the planned duration of such work. Undertakes this work according to planned work schedules and priorities with recommended PPE.
• Provides necessary safety instructions, on the job explanations to waste handlers about the hazards involved.
• Complies a report on work as directed by the COMPANY Supervisor.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
• Participate in the development and implementation of COMPANY’S envisaged work environment management objective for continuous improvement (ISO 14001 Services).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• BSc. Chemical Engineering or Equivalent. Plus Technical Trade competence in

7. HANDYMAN
Job Description
• Performs a variety of carpentry work in assigned area. Includes the fabrication, installation and repair of a wide range of wooden structures and items of furniture on the LNG Plant and associated facilities.
• Receives instruction and work assignments from Supervisor and arranges for material, tools and equipment as necessary.
• Fabricates, installs, and repairs a wide range of wooden structures, items of furniture, etc. Includes receiving work assignments from COMPANY Foreman,
• obtaining material, equipment, etc. required for the job using mechanical planning and cutting machine, using mechanical saw, chisels, saws and planes, and selecting suitable wood required.
• Reads and follows simple carpentry sketches and drawings.
• Fabricators, installs and repairs window frames, doors, partitions, wall and ceiling paneling, air-conditioner support frames, cupboards, frames and
• shuttering for pouring concrete, minor carpentry, modifications to offices, etc.
• Cut glass and fixes windowpanes as necessary.
• In the Workshop, fabricates tables, chairs, shelves, bookcases, cupboards, notice boards, counters, small cabinets, etc.
• Complies with safety regulations.
• Performs related duties, such as cleaning job sites, etc.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS.
1. Completions of Primary education, followed by 2 years full time apprenticeship training as Carpenter.

8.TECHNICAL ASSISTANT
Job Descriptions:
• Carries out a variety of technical and administrative duties related to the ongoing operations of the Support Services Section, including answering telephone calls,
• typing, maintaining appointment dairy, keeping & updating files, dispatching & distributing outgoing and incoming mail and drafting routine correspondences,.
• Assist in the writing of various procedures related to Maintenance Support Services (Rigging, Scaffolding, Insulation, painting, etc͙),

9. REFRACTORY SUPERVISOR
Job Descriptions:
• Directs co-ordinates and monitors the work on all refractory activities. To ensure all refractory repair & installation works required for the LNG Trains and associated facilities are performed safely, to prescribed standards of quality and at the most economic cost.
• Co-ordinates, monitors and performs the refractory activities, performs Quality
• Assurance/Control to a standard established by COMPANY.
• Co-ordinates & supervises the daily & shutdown refractory installation & repair works of refractory crew. Includes planning and scheduling routine work, responding to emergency work, obtains permits for vehicle entry, cold work, hot work, man entry, obtaining materials, approves Material Requisitions, etc.
• Reads and understand the refractory installation drawings, specification, and manual and provide necessary instructions to Refractory Crew.
• Prepares scope of refractory work, refractory survey reports and refractory material and accessories requirement assessment.
• Performs ,supervises refractory repair works, installation in furnaces, incinerators involving castables and plastic and other types of refractory as per equipment specification Ensures that the standard and quality of work executed by (refractory) crew
• Including refractory masonry work such as laying brick breeze blocks, applying fire proofing, performing heater, Sulphur Recovery Unit main combusting chamber furnace, Line burners and boiler refractory works are carried out at as per COMP NY’s standards and SPECIFICATIONS.
• Submits written reports (daily, monthly, shutdown and at end of refractory repair
• works) on quality of refractory works.
• Participates in the development of job safety analysis, tool box talks related to refractory repair, installation works.
• Assists in updating procedures, method statement for all practical aspects of refractory installation &repair works for the LNG Plant.
• Organizes and directs the safe and efficient maintenance of mobile plant and equipment (used for refractory work) in accordance with the agreed maintenance and safety procedures.
• Performs other related of similar duties, such as compiling Contractor’s time
• sheets, store’s stock requisition, incident reports, special technical reports etc.
• Ensures work is executed efficiently and safely in accordance with Refractory specification.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and specialization in Refractory.
2. 8 years of experience in refractory installation & repair works work in the Oil Refining, gas processing or Petrochemical Industry, including at least 3 years supervisory experience.
3. Good spoken English. Ability to write technical reports with minimum guidance.
4. Computer literate; shall be able to perform MS Office and basic computer applications.
5. Qatari Driving License.
6. Ability to read refractory design drawings.

10. SCAFFOLDING SUPERVISOR
Job Descriptions:
• Provides interface between COMPANY’s Maintenance Services Supervisor and Scaffolding Crew on routine but diverse Scaffolding duties as part of general maintenance program on all COMPANY facilities and structures. Responsible for Scaffolding Services fully in compliance with Contract requirements/COMPANY standards.
• Maintenance program is carried out in LNG Plant, Workshops and associated COMPANY facilities at Ras Laffan and NFB Offshore.
• Receives instructions from, and reports to the respective COMPANY’s Maintenance Services Supervisor.
• Passes work orders to, and receives work reports from the Scaffolding Contractor.
• Provides explanation and technical instruction as necessary to Scaffolding Crew.
• Checks performance of all Scaffolders as applicable, to maintain cost and safety control and ensure completion to schedule.
• Manages the CONTRACT and co-ordinates between CONTRACTOR Design/Head office, COMPANY and crew.
• Provides necessary documentation to the respective COMPANY’s Maintenance
• Services Supervisor on a regular daily basis for effective time and cost control.
• Responsible to the respective COMPANY’s Maintenance Services Supervisor for full compliance with relevant Scaffolding codes and standards, quality control aspects of the Contract.
o Responsible to the respective COMPANY’s Maintenance Services Supervisor for full compliance with COMPANY’s permit to work and Safety regulations as applicable, generally ensuring contract labor work in a safe and competent manner.
• Shall perform duties for all contractual and administrative aspects of the Contract.
• Responsible for the conception, design, allocations of men and material for the
• Scaffolds of the Contract.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS.
1. Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
2. CITB – Scaffolding Inspection Course Certificate is mandatory.
3. Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in supervisory and/ or Contractual Supervisor capacity in scaffolding at least 4 to 6 years must be in petrochemical Plants.
4. Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken.
5. Qatar driving license.
6. Thorough knowledge of Oil and Gas sector requirements for scaffolding.
7. Administrative capability.

11. GAS CYCLINDER MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Job Descriptions :
• Gas Cylinder Maintenance Supervisor shall be a capable person well versed in all aspects of Pressurized cylinders and international regulations for pressurized cylinders handling and storage. Should be well experienced in efficient dismantling, re installation & transportation techniques of the different types of pressurized cylinders in complex Installation in LNG Plant or Petrochemical Plant. Hands on work experience are essential.
o He shall be capable for safe handling of pressurized gases like Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide, Helium, Oxygen, Argon, Inergen gas, Calibration gases etc. (Not limited to these gases only, may vary).
o He should be familiar with different type of cylinder connections, cylinder valves, standards and should be capable of safe handling of hazardous gases in the pressurized cylinder.
• He should also have adequate maintenance Gas Cylinder handling experience and knowledge of Inventory Management in Large gas /petrochemical Process Plants.
o He shall liaise with Plant Operations, Inspection Division for Gas Cylinder inspection.
• He shall co-ordinate with external gas cylinder maintenance Contractors.
• He shall be well versed on Safety requirements.
• He shall be able to prepare reports and maintain up to date status.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Diploma in Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering
2. Adequate knowledge of different types of pressurized cylinders in complex installations.
3. Work experience with specialization in Gas cylinders/ F & G System
4. Minimum 8 to 10 years relevant experience overall of which at least 5 to 6 years must be in LNG/Petrochemical Plants.
5. Supervisory experience essential, minimum five years.

12. GAS CYLINDER MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Job Descriptions :
• Technician must be highly skilled, efficient in dismantling, re installation & transportation techniques of the different types of pressurized cylinders in complex Installation in LNG Plant or Petrochemical Plant.
• He should capable to safe handling of pressurized gases like Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide, Helium, Oxygen, Argon, Inergen gas, Calibration gases etc. ( Not limited to these gaseous only, may vary).
• He should have hands on experience in removal and re installation of cylinders and should be well versed with different cylinder connections standards.
• He should be well versed on Safety requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Schooling up to Secondary School Certificate or Equivalent
2. Trade Certificates in Mechanical Fitter / Instrumentation.
3. Minimum 8 years of experience of which 4 to 5 years must be in LNG/Petrochemical Plants.
4. Well versed in Maintenance of gas cylinders and Fire and Gas Systems.

13. MECHANICAL VALVE TECHNICIAN (PSV/PRV)
Job Descriptions :
• Carries out the skilled maintenance, overhaul and repair of all types of valve, exchangers, Pressure testing of equipment in their respective assigned areas. Includes disassembly, repair, service and re-assemble of valves equipment as well as implementation of modifications.
• Carries out the skilled maintenance on such items of Plant and equipment as Ball Valve, Gate Valve, Globe Valve, Butterfly Valve, Plug Valve, Safety Relief Valve’s, Pilot operated Valve’s, Vacuum Valve’s, Pressure testing etc.
• Uses a variety of tools and measuring devices, such as hammers, wrenches, pneumatic tools, high pressure jetting and drilling equipment, grinders, calipers, feeler gauges, micrometers, Vernier’s, dial indicators, etc. In accordance with permit to work system. Ensures that tools used are correctly calibrated. Must be able to work to very close tolerance.
• Ensures that materials and spare parts are available and in good condition before starting maintenance activity.
• Carries out complete maintenance and servicing of PRV & ISOLATION Valves, according to schedules. This includes Lapping Technique, testing methods as per API standards, general overhaul of test equipment. Repairs and or replaces defective parts, reassembles overhauls equipment.
• Carries out wide range of corrective maintenance and repairs as a result of checks or failures of equipment. This includes the dismantling of various static and rotating equipment; repair the equipment reassembly and the re-commissioning.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Completed Secondary (12 years) Education followed by 2 years formal courses in mechanical crafts.
2. Minimum of 4 years of Valve Technician and maintenance experience in an oil or gas process plant / Petro Chemical Industries.
3. Fair working knowledge of English.

14. MECHANICAL ASSISTANT
Job Descriptions :
• Assists Senior Mechanical Technician/ Contract Mechanical Technician in overhaul and repair of Plant and equipment in their respective assigned areas.
• Assist Senior Mechanical Technician and Mechanical Technician on such items
• of Plant and equipment as gas turbines, compressors, alternators, steam turbines, pumps, fans, boilers, vessels, columns, heat exchangers, LNG storage tanks, loading arms, flares, filters, valves, etc.
• Assists Senior Mechanical Technician and Mechanical Technician in use of

15. TOOL ROOM ASSISTANT
Job Descriptions :
• Directs tool and equipment issue, assists in physical inventory of all equipment, tools. Maintains equipment through routine maintenance orders and receives equipment and supplies.
• The Tool Room Technician works at COMP NY’s Central Tool Room. Work contracts include COMPANY’s direct hire technicians, contracted Technicians, and all Technical and nontechnical staffs of COMPANY and also industry vendors.
• Receive instructions and general direction regarding routine and standard matters, specific instructions regarding special equipment/supplies and non-routine matters from Mechanical Workshop Foreman.
• Conducts quarterly and annual equipment and facility safety inspections, and ensures all precision measurement equipment is properly calibrated.
• Inform required purchase requirements for the tools;
• Ensure all equipment is in proper operating condition;
• Maintains tool and equipment security;
• Issues tools and equipment to Technicians and other authorized persons with proper documentation;

16. JOB DESCRIPTION FOR FABRICATOR
Job Descriptions :
• Studying structural and piping related drawings, takes required measurements at site, Prefabricates structural steel and piping of Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel etc. Shall be able to do grinding, drilling oxy acetylene, gas cutting and plasma cutting, marking as per drawing, tack welding. Also capable of identifying correct material of each job as per drawing.
• Receives instructions from the Fabrication shop Foreman and arranges material, take measurement to fabricate the item as per the drawing or instructions.
• Collects the material and consumables from warehouse as required for the fabrication of structural steel or piping.
• Fabricate Structural Steel items as per the drawings/ sample/ taking measurements from the site.
• Capable of carrying out gas cutting, grinding, tack welding drilling etc.
• Shall be able to read isometric drawings and make the piping accordingly. In the process of piping, shall be capable of pipe bending, mitering, cutting, piping layout, edge preparation, alignment of piping, fitment etc.
• Shall be able to carry out all the fabrication activities with minimum possible wastage and proper utilization of material.
• Shall be able to understand different standards of piping and recognizing the different piping components.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Completion of Higher secondary education or equivalent, along with a trade certificate.
2. Must be highly skilled with minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Fabrication of structural steel and piping.
3. Good health.
4. Safety oriented.
5. Good Knowledge of both written and spoken English.

17. WELDER
Job Descriptions:
• Carries out a variety of high pressure and general welding work mainly in the fabrications workshop and on site using electric arc, oxygen and acetylene equipment, and metal inert gas or tungsten inert gas.
• Receives verbal instructions, work orders sketches and drawings from workshop foreman and arranges for necessary equipment, tools and materials. Consumables, materials and any special tools to carry out the work. Ensures welding work permits are available prior to starting a job.
• Reads drawings, sketches or symbols, marks or makes free-hand layout on metal and prepares metal surface for welding. Selects the correct type and gauge welding rods for specific welds in specific types of materials, such as carbon steel, ferritic, austenite and stainless steel.
• Operates electric and welding machines, and adjusts ampere and voltage during welding. Operates oxygen/acetylene welding equipment, connects regulators, torch and gas cylinders, adjusts gas pressure.
• Welds, cuts and brazes metal and metal parts. Works with ferrous and non- ferrous metals, such as brass, bronze, cast iron, stainless steel and aluminum. Performs flat, vertical and overhead welding, as well as pipeline welding for gas, oil, steam and water lines.
• Operates metal inert gas or tungsten inert gas welding equipment and weld materials, such as heat resistant steel and copper-nickel alloys.
• Uses disc grinders to back-cut welds and drying oven for electrodes, and applies pre and post heat treatment techniques. Also applies correct tacking sequence of large diameter welds to prevent distortion.

18. TECHNICAL CONTRACT ASSISTANT
Job Description:
• Assists the Contract Administrator to prepare Tender/Contract Scope of Work and prepare, develop Contract Work Orders and service type Purchase Orders for Plant activities.
• Assist in the administration of all existing and newly awarded Contracts, Contract
• Work orders and Purchase Orders of Maintenance Department.
• Assist in the preparation of Shutdown Tender Scope of Work and subsequent administration of shutdown contract and other related shutdown activities.
• Assist the Contract Administrator to develop accurate estimates at the time of budget preparation, checks invoices accurately for payment and review cost reports.
• Assists the Contract Administrator in defining accurately and technically the user’s requirements and converting them into Contract Work Order (CWO) Scope of Work (with input whenever required from end-users). For small scale jobs, prepare the entire CWO Scope of Work and document it for comment/endorsement by Contract Administrator, Head of Planning & Methods and Maintenance Manager.
• Assists the Contractor Administrator in preparing Contracts/Contract Work Orders, Tender Bids, evaluation documents (with inputs whenever required from end-users) for review/endorsement by requestor, hierarchy, STC or LTC.
• Arranges Contractor Site Visits (faxes, site passes, on-site transportation and meals, etc. whenever required).
• Arrange Contracted persons mobilization and assist in conducting interview, bringing in replacement candidates, preparing gate passes, safety induction trainings, etc.
• Follow-up and coordinate with the contractor and the end users with the mobilization of Contractor manpower and related other activities.

• Supervises the daily maintenance activities according to plans, work request priorities, and resource and material availabilities. Manages the planned completion times for each job.
• Ensures efficient and cost-effective completion of maintenance and repair jobs for rotating, stationary and mechanical machineries and equipment of the assigned area/facilities.
• Receives daily maintenance and repair work schedule, allocates work to subordinates, checks progress, and ensures that all mechanical checks and tests are carried out prior to hand over to operations.
• Supports workshop technicians in the execution of theirs jobs.
• Interprets technical drawings, isometrics and sketches for work and provides guidance and instructions.
• Updates SAP with actual man-hours for each work request executed by the workshop.
• Inspects completed works to ensure QA/QC and conformity with work request.
• Reviews raw materials store’s stock levels to ensure that stocks are maintained at adequate levels for current and future work programs.
• Adopts “Reverse Engineering Method” in case the spares are not available in the store.

3. Minimum of 3 years’ experience at supervisory level in installation, Maintenance and repair of rotating and stationary equipment in gas or petrochemical production plant.
